Elk Lake Floral owner Connie Misico has been wanting to give something back to the community ever since she bought Elk Lake Floral and Greenhouses seven years ago.

When harvested, tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, onions and peppers growing in one of the gardens at Elk Lake Floral will be donated to the Elk Rapids Community Cupboard food pantry, which delivers food to needy households.

The public is welcome to check out the community garden anytime.
